India is an important source market of investment projects for UK, and DIT UK has a large team in India for FDI targeting. The DIT Investment services leadership in UK HQ realized the need of an experienced Indian company to back the post with high quality research and new leads. Especially in newer knowledge-based industries. DIT awarded us a contract through OCO Global, the partner working with the Investment services team.
Maeflower Consulting profiled over 400 companies across 4 sectors over the four month period. We discovered over 60 companies with very strong investment signals and potential to invest in the UK. During the contract, in Feb 2020 we organized a series of investor meeting for the DIT leadership at NASSCOM Technology leadership forum (NTLF). These were very well received and leading to 2 project level decisions, where the Indian companies agreed on dates to visit the UK. During the entire project we had a total of 7 projects that evinced an interest to invest in the UK in 2020.
